Inaugural Flight to Kharkiv

Myway Airlines has launched its regular flight to Kharkiv from Tbilisi and Batumi airports.
The first inaugural flight from Kharkiv was welcomed at Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport. According to Vladimir Vasilchenko, director of Kharkiv International Airport, appointment of new flights will further strengthen close relations between Georgia and Ukraine. “Our countries are associated with many different areas and I hope that these flights will become more popular. Tbilisi is a great city, which is the capital of our friendly State. Tbilisi makes it simple for travelers to reach Azerbaijan and Armenia easily. We are very pleased that Myway Airlines chose Kharkiv as one of its routes and we strongly anticipate that these flights will be successful,” said Kharkiv International Airport Director.
After an official welcome ceremony at Kharkiv International Airport, the crew of Myway Airlines hosted approximately 50 tourist agencies operating on Ukrainian Market and media representatives, on board. Flight Inauguration ceremony was also held at Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport. Among other invited guests were the Deputy Minister of Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Cherkezishvili, as well as directors of Georgian Civil Aviation Agency, “TAV Georgia”, “Sakaeronavigatsia” and the United Airports of Georgia.
The Deputy Minister of Economy congratulated the sector specialists of the aviation market with the appearance of new Georgian airline, and wished the company "Myway Airlines" a successful operation and providing high quality service for passengers.
The commercial director of new airline thanked the invited guests for their attendance and “TAV Georgia” for its hospitability. “We believe that this route will be very popular and interesting for both Georgian and Ukrainian passengers”, - said Mr. Igor Aptsiauri.
Myway Airlines will perform Tbilisi-Kharkiv-Tbilisi regular flight with the frequency of departures 2 times per week (Tuesdays and Saturdays), with B737-800 type aircrafts. Batumi flights will also be conducted two times per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. First regular flight to the coast took place on June 13th
