Sports equipment

BICYCLES

The following are considered as one bicycle:

  • Regular one - seater bicycle (touring or racing) non-motorized;
  • Tandem double – seater.
Acceptance

Pre-notification is required at time of reservation.

NOTE: The respective SSR-code to be used is 'BIKE' (For bicycle)

NOTE: The respective SSR-code to be used is 'SPEQ' (For tandem)

SNOW EQUIPMENT

One set of snow equipment consists of:

  • one pair of skis;
  • one pair of ski poles;
  • one pair of ski boots;
  • one snowboard;
  • one pair of boots.

WATER SKI - EQUIPMENT

One set of water ski - equipment consists of:

  • one pair of skis;
  • one slalom ski.
Packing requirements

Packing is required for protecting the equipment and prevent the damage of other baggage.

Acceptance restrictions

No restrictions per aircraft type. SSR SPEQ-SKI required.

Restrictions may be different for code share flights operated by another carrier.

  • handlebars must be fixed to the frame;
  • pedals removed;
  • packed in a carton box or a special plastic bag.

GOLF EQUIPMENT

The golf equipment includes;

  • one golf bag;
  • golf clubs/balls
  • a pair of golf shoes
Acceptance

No restrictions per aircraft type. SSR SPEQ-GOLF required.

Restrictions may be different for code share flights operated by another carrier.

GOLF EQUIPMENT

The following sport items are considered as large sports equipment (exceeding 158 cm):

  • Windsurfing equipment is comprised of five primary pieces: board, sail, mast, boom and mast base;
  • Surfboard;
  • Pole vaulting equipment;
  • Delta gliders;
  • Hang gliders;
  • Large fishing rods.
Acceptance

Large sports equipment must be pre-notified at time of booking.

NOTE

the SSR code is to be used ‘SPEQ’

If sports equipment is not packed in special packing, it must be in protective wrapping.

Restrictions

Transportation of large sports equipment may be refused if not pre-notified (controlled by reservations department).

Restrictions may be different for code share flights operated by another carrier.
