Ukraine Welcomes a Georgian airline

„It’s my way to Georgia” - With this slogan Myway Airlines starts yet another regular flight to Ukraine. Kyiv was a new host of the airline, after Kharkiv. Inaugural flight took place on October 5th at 13:00 o’clock (Kyiv time), which was celebrated by the traditional water salute followed by the Georgian pilots hanging the two friendly countries’ flags out of a cockpit window.

Myway Airlines representatives held an introductory meeting with the guests gathered at the airport and they talked about the future plans. According to Nataliia Sville- the Revenue manager of Myway Airlines, company will perform Tbilisi-Kyiv-Tbilisi flight twice per week on Mondays and Friday. Starting from October 24th, Wednesday will be added as a third frequency.

“Kyiv is a second city of choice for Myway Ailines. To me, it’s very symbolic that our company started its regular operations in Ukraine. Flights have been performed to Kharkiv since June of this year from Tbilisi and Batumi international airports.”-notes Mrs. Sville

Boeing 737-800 is a type of an aircraft which will conduct flights between Kyiv and Tbilisi. During the winter navigation season, Myway Airlines has a special offer for its customers. Every individual who loves skiing or is keen on sports, will have an opportunity to carry sports equipment on Myway’s board free of charge. Ticket price includes 25 kilograms of baggage, 10 kg of a hand luggage and catering. Apart from providing delicious meals on board, Myway airlines offers its passengers a famous Georgian wine.

Among the representatives of the airline, there was a first secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia Mr. Victor Semenov. Georgian delegation was greeted by the Borispol airport personnel, Ukrainian tourism agencies, media and a Georgian diplomat Mr. Ramaz Eloshvili.

Two parties discussed an impotence of this new route between Tbilisi and Kyiv and mentioned that this innovative step will further an economic and cultural relations between the two friendly countries.

By the support of Georgian national tourism administration, group of 20 people consisting of Ukrainian tourist agencies and media representatives will travel to Georgia using this inaugural flight as a chance to voyage around the country. Guests will have an opportunity to attend “Tbilisoba” celebrations and spend some time in the mountains of Kazbegi and Gudauri.

Myway Airlines is a new Georgian Full Service Commercial airline based in Tbilisi International Airport. Currently the airline is operating regular scheduled services along with charter flights to various destinations.

In the destination line, Rome and Budapest come next. Myway Airlines will start regular flights to EU countries from October 28th, 2018.
